The label states that Eighty Days was made during an Australian Visit from June 13 until August 31, 1997. The cloth bag is labeled Networkers are Miners on one side and Fossick Edition on the other. On one of the photocopied sheets within the bag, the meaning of Fossick is given as Australian or New Zealand slang for to rummage or to search. Its contents are 30 works produced by students of the School of Arts at University of Ballarat that explore the themes of mining, minerals and local history of Ballarat, Australia.The case also contains a catalogue entitled "Field Study Australia" documenting international mail art exhibited at the Courthouse Project in Geelong, Australia.The plastic case is a blue color with the Australian flag embossed on its lid. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.

The main feature of this issue was a compact disc recording by Stefan Kurt with selections of music and sound poetry. The disc was produced by Jurgen Olbrich at the No Institute. The melodic music often incorporated street sounds, for example, a travelling, steam locomotive. the 84, 35mm, color transparency slides are labeled and depict landscapes, buildings and scenes of a marketplace somewhere in Africa. The can holding this material is an appropriated Danish cookie can onto which Olbrich has collaged paper, perforated with letters on its lid and side to read, No News 39. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.

This project and the accompanying book are a spoof on a vehicle advertised in Frankfurter Allegmeine Sonntagszeitung, the "ResidenSea." The latter is a luxery liner and houseboat all in one with 110 holiday residences and 88 apartments for sale. The prices range from $680,000 to $3,900,000! The booklet gives the artist's take on this project and the box objects presents the artists' view of another kind of travelling.
